People who changed the world with religion

1.Jesus of Nazareth (5 BC-33 AD) - He was about 30 years old when he died, therefore he died around 30 AD. From his life we base our calendar. All those that call themselves "Christian" (including Thomas Jefferson, Sir Isaac Newton, etc.) practically worship him. He spoke with authority, so simply, thousands of people followed him continually. He was called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. It is also said he died for your salvation, making him the greatest martyr.

2.Moses ben Amram (1588 BC-1468 BC) - Traditional author of the Hebrew Torah. From his laws are based almost all the law books throughout the world. His first book, Genesis (Literally, "beginnings"), has been the inspiration of all who hold to a creator for millennia, the very textbook of creationist scientists.

3.Gautama Buddha (563 BC-483 BC) - Founder of the Buddhist religion. His beliefs that held that all men may become gods has been one of the greatest influences on all history. The whole idea that "life is what you make it" is practically his invention.

4.Muhammad Ibn Abdullah (570 AD-632 AD) - Founder of Islam and first caliph of Arabia. his religion, only some 15 centuries old, has already stretched from the Philippines through Pakistan to Morocco and France and even to the shores of America.

5.Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) - First recorded Atheist in history. He theorized spontaneous generation, which is still held by a remarkable amount of so-called scientists to this day. From his beliefs we get such famous men as Charles Darwin, Karl Marx, Adolf Hitler and Josef Stalin.

6.Saint Thomas Aquinas (1225-1274) Author of the Summa Theologica, among other books. In his writings, he devised some 600 possible problems one might have with Christianity, and he gives such simple, easy to understand answers grounded on basic logic.

7.Daniel (636 BC-538 BC) - Author of the Biblical book that bears his name. He is hailed as one of the greatest prophets that ever lived, who predicted Alexander, The Hellenistic era, Rome, the fall of Rome, the American revolution, the Internet, among others. He gave the exact date when Jesus would be born in his future, and he might have inspired Zoroastrianism.

8.Mohandas Gandhi (1869-1948) - You should know who he was.

9.Harun Al-Rashid (763 AD-809 AD) - 5th Caliph of the Abbasid Dynasty of Arabia. He is the purported author of the 1,001 Arabian Nights, and is considered by many as the greatest caliph that ever lived.

10.Clarence Darrow (1857-1938) - Defense attorney at the Scopes Trial. Through his oratory skills, he accomplished one of the greatest triumphs of Atheism in history.
