Why reinvent the wheel when you can use existing strategies for managing change that already works? When designing something complex such as a skyscraper or a large website like Facebook.com, you always start with a blueprint or a process to work with to prevent mistakes and save time.

There is always more than one way to come up with a solution to a problem, which why there are several models listed that may fit to your unique personal situation or your organization.

When reviewing the change strategies, it's your ACTIONS that determine your results. Attitudes, knowledge, motivation, intentions, will be pointless without taking that FIRST step to get the ball rolling. So, take those initial first steps to see if a particular model or strategy works for you.
